Sailing in the RS Tera

  • Camp for youth from 10-14 years (advanced)

  • Zomerweek intern, extern of extern +

1 person per boat - The RS Tera can be sailed both recreationally and competitively. The boat is very stable and reacts well in light weather and goes very fast in a nice breeze. The Tera is small enough for someone of 30 kg, big enough for anyone up to 70 kg.

The RS TVera is a modern, user-friendly boat that is ideally suited to introduce youngsters to the speed that a sword boat can have. Because of the many possibilities of the boat, they will soon want nothing else but sailing. The RS Tera can be sailed both recreationally and competitively. No wonder the RS Tera has become one of the most popular RS boats within two years.

The RS Tera is in between the Laser Bug and the Laser at the sailing school. In this program we will pay extra attention to competitive sailing, both in game form and with the official rules. The instructors are trained as competition trainers in cooperation with the National Platform Youth Competition Sailing.

After sailing

If you stay overnight with us (internal) then you won't have to get bored in the evening. After you've been out on the water all day and eaten, we start the evening program. Some water skiing, trying other water sports, a cool game on the island or just an evening movie to recover a bit. You sleep in a room with your (new) friends or girlfriends. Boys and girls do sleep in separate compartments, of course.Sleeping at home in your own bed? That's no problem for our younger guests! With us you can also external participate in sailing camp. We pick you up every morning between 09.00 and 09.15 at the ferry. At noon you can join us for lunch at the sailing school and between 17.30 and 17.45 your parents can pick you up again at the ferry or if you like at 20.30 after the evening program. (exterrn+). On Friday, the last evening, we have a nice barbecue, fun evening and graduation ceremony. With a cool disco to end the day!
