School camps
De Kaag Watersport Academy has been organising school camps for higher, secondary and primary education for 70 years. Under the guidance of owner Guido van Rijn (graduated teacher at the Academy for Physical Education, Dutch and European champion in snowboarding, skiing and land sailing) customised programmes are offered.
When you book a school trip or school camp at Watersport Academy de Kaag you choose a personal organization where personal contact is key! No large travel organization with multiple layers and contacts. We are the specialist in the field of children's and youth vacations and offer tailor-made packages from 20 to 250 people.
Our instructors are all CWO credited and the daily management has a BHV certificate.
It is possible to stay one or more days and the sign of the week will be similar to the philosophy of your school. Staying at Watersport Academy de Kaag, can be based on self-catering, breakfast, half board, but also with full catering.
We are proud to count a number of renowned schools among our regular customers. School association Wolters, Rijnlands Lyceum, CIOS Haarlem, British School Nederland and ROC Sport en Bewegen are examples of these.

Opportunities
Windsurfing, canoeing, botter sailing, water skiing, catamaran or minijis and keelboat sailing. Because of the wide range of activities at our Watersports Academy, we can create a program that will excite everyone! Below you will find some possibilities of the activities on the water.
Learn the basics of this cool sport! After you've mastered the basic skills like balance, windroos and rigging, you can start the real thing. Then it won't be long before you're hooked on this super sport.
Windsurfing
Whizzing over the water in a trapeze on one float. Or would you rather steer a mini 12-metre yacht with your feet? It is possible! And one thing is for sure: you will not get bored for a single moment!
Catamaran/ Minijis
Waterskiing/Wakeboarding
Every student who has stood behind the ski boat with us on the skis comes off the water with a big smile.
Your first water ski experience, you will never forget! With the ski-nautique you tear over the water. This boat is equipped with a boom (auxiliary rod). The boom makes it so easy that you'll have your feet on the water in no time.
Keelboat sailing
Cosy with four or five people in the 16m2 or Valk. An ideal boat to get the first principles of sailing under control, but also to explore the surroundings on the water.
Canoeing/supping
Explore the small ditches and islands of the Kagerplassen with your group. Or would you rather have a polo canoeing competition? You can make it as competitive as you like!
