Go Extreme! Boys and Girls, it's time for action! You don't mind getting wet? Do you really get a kick out of sliding across the water and getting splashed? Book at "De Kaag" Watersport Academy for a week of extreme camp!
What can you expect? Wakeboarding, water skiing, catamaran, trimaran sailing and flyboarding. Every day the program will be different. For example, you can go cat sailing in the morning and in your swimming trunks wakeboarding behind our Ski Nautique in the afternoon.
Flyboarding
During the extreme camp you will not only go waterskiing, wakeboarding and catamaraning, but you will also go Flyboarding. How cool is that? Flyboarding is a new spectacular watersport and has become very popular. Once you've mastered the feeling it's just like flying Ironman over the water. Like a superhero in the air from left to right and from bottom to top shooting over and out of the water by making great diving flights with the thrust of water.
Flyboarding is a spectacular experience! You want to keep on feeling the feeling of freedom and the enormous kick this unique sport gives.
Ski-Nautique
The Ski-Nautique is equipped with a boom (auxiliary pole). This boom makes it so easy that you are able to water-ski on the first day, even if you have never done it before! Another advantage of this boom is that you can talk to your instructor and follow his/her tips even faster.
After you've practised on the boom, you'll be "unhooked" and start behind the boat. During the week you make a choice between waterskiing or wakeboarding. Wakeboarding is very popular and can be compared to surfing at sea or snowboarding. If you like more speed then you can go waterskiing, it's even possible that you'll come out of the water on a monoski at the end of the week. And you can be sure that our boat has enough horsepower to let you rip over the water!
Catamaran/Trimaran
The catamaran and trimaran are popular sailboats. They give that little bit more action on the water. The boats are polyester and have 2 or 3 hulls. With an experienced instructor, you'll be hanging in the trapeze within seconds and tearing across the water! With the sun in your face and the water splashing around, this is really a great experience! In addition, we are one of the few sailing schools in the Netherlands where you can learn to sail on a trimaran!
Program
The sailing hours are from 09.30 till 17.00 with of course a break to have a nice lunch and chill at the Watersports Academy. Also in the evening there is enough to do. If the weather is nice you can jump from the Blob, suppolo or just chill at the campfire. This way you can meet your (new) friends! On Friday we will all enjoy the barbecue and the closing party. Or what about an exotic beach party?
Sleeping at home in your own bed? That's no problem for our younger guests! With us you can also external participate in the sailing camp. We pick you up every morning between 09.00 and 09.15 at the ferry. At noon you can join us for lunch at the sailing school and between 17.30 and 17.45 your parents can pick you up again at the ferry or if you like at 20.30 after the evening program. (external+). On Friday evening we close the week with a delicious barbecue in the garden followed by the bonte evening and a disco party!
