Sailing in the RS Tera

1 person per boat - The RS Tera can be sailed both recreationally and competitively. The boat is very stable and reacts well in light weather and goes very fast in a nice breeze. The Tera is small enough for someone of 30 kg, big enough for anyone up to 70 kg.
The RS Tera is a modern, user-friendly boat that is extremely suitable for introducing young people to the speed that a sailing boat can have. Because of the many possibilities of the boat, soon they will want nothing else but sailing. With the RS Tera, both recreational and competitive sailing can be done. No wonder the RS Tera has become one of the most popular RS boats within two years.
The RS Tera is in between the Laser Bug and the Laser at the sailing school. In this program we will pay extra attention to competitive sailing, both in game form and with the official rules. The instructors are trained as competition trainers in cooperation with the National Platform Youth Competition Sailing.
On day trip with the RS Tera
On thursday you will choose the wide waters, long stretches of planing on the larger lakes at de Kaag. Or a competition to find out who reaches the final destination the fastest. Of course you are not alone, the instructor in the motorboat is always nearby. We sail every day from 9.30 till 17.00 hours.
After sailing
If you stay with us (in-house), you won't have to be bored in the evening. After you've been on the water all day and had dinner, we start with the evening program. Try waterskiing, other water sports, a cool game on the island or just an evening movie to relax. You sleep together with your (new) friends in one room. Boys and girls will of course sleep in a separate department.Sleeping at home in your own bed? That's no problem for our younger guests! With us you can also participate in the sailing camp externally. We will pick you up every morning between 09.00 and 09.15 hours at the ferry. At noon you can have dinner with us at the sailing school and between 17.30 and 17.45 hours your parents can pick you up at the ferry or if you like at 20.30 hours after the evening program. On Friday, the last evening, we will have a barbecue, a party and the presentation of diplomas. And to end it all we have a great disco!
