Splash course

Course for youngest youth 4-6 years (beginner)

The splash course at de Kaag watersport academy consists of 3 lessons of 2 hours where you will be playfully introduced to the sport of sailing. The splash course is especially for beginning sailors in the age of 4 to 6 years old. We use our special Optimists for this, the Optiscooter! These have a smaller triangular sail which can also be reefed (made smaller) when there is more wind, a bicycle steering wheel instead of a tiller, and a special elastic band to set the sail in the right position and to catch gusts of wind.
