Waterport Academy De Kaag is the water sports centre in the Randstad. Located on Kaageiland and surrounded by the beautiful Kagerplassen, this location is a household name in the Netherlands. For 70 years, lessons have been given in practically every branch of water sports. This happens under the guidance and supervision of CWO qualified instructors (commission watersport training).
Sinds 1952 is De Kaag al drie generaties lang “A place to create memories”. Op onze locatie hebben veel gasten kennis gemaakt met het zeilen en watersporten. En alle vrienden, ingesmeerde neuzen en mooie dagen die daarbij horen.
Summer camps for young people are the speciality of "De Kaag". There is a wide range of boats from which the children can choose, from young to somewhat older, there is something for everyone.
Besides sailing you can also go to Watersport Academy De Kaag for windsurfing, water skiing, wakeboarding and as of this season also FOILING in several forms. This is only a selection from our offer, we are happy to inform you about the possibilities via the website, telephone or mail.
For companies, too, we offer a tailor-made water sports programme including a delicious lunch or BBQ.

Sinds kort liggen er nieuwe boten in onze haven, de Hobie Catsy! Deze jeugdcatamaran is speciaal voor de jongste en snelste zeilers! Het kamp is vanaf 8 jaar voor kinderen met minimaal een CWO diploma.

Come in and take the tour! Take a look at our accommodation where we have room for up to 85 people for school camps, meetings, weddings and so on. Centrally located in the Randstad on Kaageiland, we also have a large terrace in the backyard overlooking the harbour and the water.
Safety and quality come first!
Safety is our top priority. Both physical and mental safety is the basis of every fun and learning experience.
All our instructors are CWO certified to ensure the safety and quality of the camps and courses. They ensure that you or your child will have an unforgettable experience both on the water and on the shore.
What do we do among other things:
There is 24/7 supervision and a point of contact
During the camp week all rooms get their own room daddy or mummy
Wearing a life jacket is mandatory!
Staff team annually obtains their BHV diploma
Motorboats fitted with a safety propeller around the engine
